My friends Jean and Bromley celebrated their 8-year lindy-versary this past week. They’ve been teaching in the Bay Area for most of that time, and are now running a venue in Berkeley called The Dancers’ Den. Two nights ago, after the birthday jam, Bromley took the microphone, said some lovely things, and asked Jean for a little celebration dance in the jam circle. Here’s how it went.

I'm not really much of a punkass, it's just a moniker that has served me well since college in the mid-90s. The only internet-fame I can lay claim to is from when I built my car, and then built it again.
